Data Download by Department

To download the raw traffic stops data by department and year, please use our download tool below. Note that data for 2013 is from October 1-December 31 only.

Instructions

Use the filters to select department types, department names, and data years. Within each filter, click on the trashcan button to clear your selection and show all available datasets. Datasets that match the selected filters will be shown in the table below.

To download a dataset, click on “View” in the Table Link column. The dataset’s page on GitHub will open in a new tab. To download the data from GitHub, click on the menu button on the top right side of the page, then click on “Download”. You can also download the data dictionary.
