We are honored to have earned this recognition, particularly because it was powered by our standing in the community.

We’re excited to share some good news during these challenging times! CTData received the 2020 Connecticut Entrepreneur Award for Education, earning the top spot in community voting for this category.

Held annually since 2017, the CT Entrepreneur Awards celebrates Connecticut’s leading entrepreneurs, ventures, and ecosystem elements that support them. The virtual event included panel discussions and sessions with experts about topics like digital marketing and funding.

This year was one of the biggest in the history of the awards, with a total of 404 nominations and 255 finalists! Out of this pool, 24 winners and 68 runners-up were selected for each category ranging from economic development to social entrepreneurship.

“We are honored to have earned this recognition, particularly because it was powered by our standing in the community,” said Michelle Riordan-Nold, Executive Director of the Connecticut Data Collaborative. “We strive diligently to achieve better-informed decision making in the public and private sector, to expand the use and understanding of data, and to facilitate public access to data. We look forward to additional collaborations to further those objectives.”

CTData would like to thank the CT Entrepreneur Awards and everyone who voted for us—without your support, we wouldn’t be writing this blog post! We are also honored to be recognized along with an impressive group of organizations and individuals.
