CTData is back with another conference for data lovers! Register here. Check out the conference hub here.
As data people, our role is often one of making connections across organizations or across geographies to better understand progress or challenges in the social sector. During the conference, participants will learn about the pivotal role data has played in making connections, improving systems, and measuring outcomes through data integration, data infrastructure development, data strategy building, and more.
This year, we're thrilled to hear from Sixto Cancel, Founder and CEO of Think of Us as our keynote speaker. Their organization exemplifies the power of data in creating change, using their Center for Lived Experience to "re-architect the child welfare system" and work towards "a foster care system where every child has a loving home."
Additionally, the agenda is currently being created. (A Call for Proposals is here, open until August 31.) The tracks will be on these topics, with more details in the near future:
An AI track
Equity in Data
A hands-on track
We are also seeking proposals! If you are interested in submitting a proposal, please submit using this form by August 30, 2024.
This FREE conference will run from 9 am to 4 pm, with a reception from 4 to 6 pm. The conference will take place at the beautiful Heritage Hotel in Southbury, CT. With many beautiful indoor-outdoor gathering spaces, you will have many opportunities to develop new connections, share ideas, and start new partnerships.
During registration, you will be offered either a free ticket or a ticket along with a donation. Once registered, you'll receive updates and announcements via email from Eventbrite, our CTData Special newsletter (check out our website to join the list!), or by searching for the hashtag #CTDataConf on all our social media platforms!
