Connecticut Evictions Interactive Map

An analysis of the intersection of race and sex in Connecticut’s Eviction Crisis illustrates how decades of discriminatory housing policies and actions continue to harm residents of color. Our interactive map provides eviction data by Zip Code and Census tract.

Hartford Data Platform

A geospatial analysis that maps Hartford housing conditions with the 500 Cities dataset of health outcomes, to better understand which neighborhood conditions could be improved.

Hartford Neighborhoods Voter Data Story

  • What was the participation of currently registered Hartford residents during the previous municipal election (2019)?

  • What share of residents in the neighborhoods voted in that election? How does that differ by age group?

  • In which neighborhoods have residents voted at higher rates and lower rates?

Hartford Youth Data Fellows 2023 Data Snapshots

The 2023 Hartford Youth Data Fellows analyzed neighborhood and city-level data about children & youth in poverty, education, community safety, and youth mental health to create Data Snapshots with the Hartford Data Collaborative in the spring of 2023.

Hartford UNITY Project

The Hartford Data Collaborative and 2022 Hartford Youth Researchers analyzed children & youth engagement in post-COVID 19 programs funded by the City of Hartford’s UNITY (Understanding the Needs of Today’s Youth) initiative. Our analysis includes program participation by age, gender, race, ethnicity, and access by neighborhood. Additional analysis of years 2 and 3 of the program are forthcoming.

New -Promoting Equitable Pandemic Recovery for Hartford’s Young Children

Research on how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the early care and education experiences and the development of young children in Hartford, and the supports that child care providers and families need.
