Hartford Data Collaborative is Seeking Youth Researchers!

Do you work with Hartford youth?

The Hartford Data Collaborative is starting a new project on Youth Behavioral Health and is seeking to partner with Youth Researchers (ages 16-24) for this work.

The Youth Researchers will gain professional development skills in data literacy and analysis and share their knowledge and insights about youth behavioral health with city and state leaders as well as their community. Additionally, the project will further the integration of data from city providers of youth engagement programs funded by federal COVID-19 relief funds, to better understand the impact of federal funds and enhance ongoing youth engagement efforts in Hartford.

The initial cohort of Hartford Data Collaborative Youth Researchers will meet from March to June 2022, with meetings and schedule times to be determined based on Youth Researchers’ schedules and availability. We anticipate youth researchers will need to invest 35-40 hours of their time for training, meetings, and data work. They will receive a stipend of $1,000 for completing the spring project.

If you know of youth you think would be a good fit for this program please share this flyer and apply using this form. The deadline for applications is March 11, 2022.
