Join us for an interactive discussion about our recent data liberation project: Health in Hartford’s Neighborhoods. We used public secondary data on health and housing and found some compelling new issues for advocates. We want to hear from others about their data work and continue to generate powerful insights to expand opportunity in Hartford. We know there are great primary and secondary data available and want to connect to build that data ecosystem together.
Feel free to share this event with others who might be interested and please reach out with any questions.
The SEOW Data Prevention Portal Has Gotten a Makeover!
We’ve been hard at work, but it’s finally here! Thanks to the collaboration with our partners at the DMHAS Center for Prevention Evaluation and Statistics (CPES) at UConn Health, the SEOW Prevention Data Portal is better than ever! Read the statement from CPES on our blog to hear more about these exciting additions. You can also see the changes for yourself here.
CTData seeks an energetic person who loves data, believes in our mission, wants to grow our organization, and join our small team as the Assistant Director.
The Assistant Director will work closely with the Executive Director to execute the mission of the organization. The Assistant Director will contribute to several areas of the Collaborative, including development, the CTData Academy, and our Census State Data Center work with the goal of building and supporting a statewide learning community around the use of data to drive planning and policy.
We had to reschedule our Data Storytelling workshop on 1/30 due to inclement weather. We held one workshop on Friday, 2/8 and another on Friday, 2/15. If you were unable to make either session, we will be hosting more workshops in the spring, so stay tuned for those dates!
