Count Me in 2020 (Waterbury)

January 16, 2020
from 9:30 am to 10:30 am
Connecticut Counseling Centers, Inc.
4 Midland Rd, Waterbury, CT 06705
Community nonprofits are invited to participate in a one-hour workshop to learn about the upcoming 2020 Census and how they can support a fair and accurate count. As trusted voices in communities across the State of Connecticut, community nonprofits are positioned to help the people they serve get counted.

Workshop participants will learn the U.S. Census Bureau’s plan to invite every person to respond, and how you can support those efforts and answer common questions from the people in the communities you serve. Success of the census depends on community involvement –community nonprofits can help! If you are not able to attend this workshop, please designate someone from your organization to attend!

Did you know Connecticut receives $10.7 billion in federal funding? If people in Connecticut are not counted, those dollars that support schools, roads, public works and other vital assistance programs will go to other states. You can help make sure every person in Connecticut is counted and keep those dollars where they are needed.
